Tips for you to control the fermentation temperature by using chicken manure composting system
The temperature is an important factor for influencing the compost effects. High temperature makes microbial growth quickly. Then how to control it?
- Supply enough oxygen at the preliminary stage of composting. At the preliminary stage of composting, the temperature is about 38°C. Then it is applicable to supply enough oxygen for rising temperature.
- Turn the materials regularly. When the temperature reaches 65°C, it is time for you to turn the chicken poo materials. If the compost temperature is higher than 60°C, the microbial will be not active. For your information, if you use chicken dung compost fermentation tank, you had better keep the temperature at 60°C for 3 days. While, if you use turners, 15 days will be better. Meanwhile, turning materials is necessary.
